From the moment I arrived at the Rush family's home, I knew this session would be something special. Just when I thought we’d captured all the beautiful moments, we had one more challenge left — their two adorable pups! Mom and Dad had warned me this might be tricky since their dogs are known for their boundless energy and general dislike of sitting still (who can blame them?). But we were up for the challenge, and I was determined to make it work. As Dad brought the pups into the beautifully decorated nursery, their tails wagged with excitement, the real magic began...


With its soft hues and loving touches, the nursery was the perfect backdrop. I positioned Mom and Dad just right, and with a bit of coaxing, we managed to get the pups to settle in next to them. And then, the (almost) impossible happened. Both dogs sat perfectly still, eyes locked on the camera like seasoned models! This wasn’t just a fleeting moment either. They held their poses for what felt like a magical eternity. I couldn’t believe my eyes as I clicked away, capturing this surreal, picture-perfect moment for the Rush family. Even Mom and Dad were in disbelief, sharing laughs and exclamations of surprise, “They’ve never done that before!” they said with smiles on their faces.


As I reviewed the images, a wave of happiness washed over me. I knew I had captured something truly special for the Rush family. Their love is evident in every corner of their home — from the photos of their beloved dogs that grace their walls to the tender way they hold their sweet baby boy. And now, these new images would add even more warmth to their home. Baby S was an absolute dream during the session, barely making a peep, and sleeping soundly in his parents’ arms with a peaceful contentment that was simply angelic.


The bond within this family is truly something special. Family means everything to the Rushes, and this session beautifully captured that. The photo with everyone (even the furry family members) held so much meaning. And speaking of meaningful, Baby S was wearing one of his dad’s outfits from when HE was a newborn. How special is that? Seeing him in this treasured piece, fitting perfectly, was like witnessing a beautiful connection between generations. To top it off, the gorgeous blanket handmade by his grandma added another layer of love and warmth. It’s moments like these that make you truly appreciate the power of family and heritage.


Rush family, thank you so much for allowing me to be part of these precious moments. It truly means the world to me to capture these sweet memories for you to treasure forever. Your love for one another is so beautiful and inspiring. I can't wait to see Baby S grow, becoming best friends with his four-legged siblings.
