When I walked into the Maldonado home for their newborn session, it was instantly buzzing with energy. The two big brothers were darting around with all the excitement and noise you’d expect from a home filled with boys—and I couldn’t stop smiling. Amidst the wild footsteps and laughter, there was this overwhelming sense of love and togetherness. Their sweet mama, calm as ever, just smiled through the beautiful chaos, totally at peace with the season of life they’re in. Because yes—it’s loud, it’s busy, and sometimes a little wild, but it’s also overflowing with connection, brotherhood, and the kind of love that runs deep. And then there they were… the newest additions: two perfect identical twin boys, snuggled up and already so loved by their big brothers. Watching each older brother cradle one of the twins was such a tender moment. It was my very first twin session, and it felt so special to witness that kind of bond unfolding right in front of me.
The Maldonados are dear friends of mine, and this session was such a reflection of who they are. They’re grounded in love, laughter, and grace—and they welcome you in like family. That house may be full of boys, but even more so, it’s full of heart. Their boys are playful, loving, and already so close-knit—it’s clear they’ve built a bond that will only grow stronger with time. And that’s a true testament to the warmth, strength, and love that radiates from their home. You can tell this is a family that truly delights in each other, even in the middle of the beautiful mess.
