Love was in the air on this chilly, windy day in Waxahachie. We gathered at the Ellis County Courthouse, an architectural gem that stands proudly in Texas. With its stunning facade and intricate details, this courthouse is often regarded as one of the most beautiful and photographed in the state.
Lyzz, radiating in her beautiful white dress, and Josh, looking dapper in his khaki pants and sports jacket, had just exchanged their vows. The excitement and joy were unmistakable as their faces glowed with happiness. As I captured their couple portraits, Lyzz and Josh slowly strolled toward the courthouse. Their steps symbolized this new journey they were embarking on together.
Shortly after they began to move away, a heartwarming interruption occurred. Their adorable son, Greyson, dressed to impress in his charming blue and white suit, came sprinting up behind them. His little feet pattered on the ground as he ran, his face lit up with pure joy. He didn't want to miss out on the fun, and who could blame him? Being close to Mom and Dad was his favorite place to be. The sight of Greyson rushing to his parents was a sweet, unforgettable moment. It perfectly encapsulated the love and bond this family shares.
Naturally, I had to capture the entire family walking hand in hand after that. The sight of the three of them, the perfect family on a perfect day, was simply beautiful. Lyzz and Josh are incredible parents, and it was clear that Greyson’s happiness was one of their top priorities. Throughout the day, all Greyson wanted was to be by his Mom and Dad. They are his safe space, his comfort zone, and of course his biggest fans. They cherish him just as much as he cherishes them.
