I don’t think I stopped smiling this entire session. Lyzz and Dustin are just one of those couples who make you feel their happiness instantly—it’s contagious! Their engagement photos at Pershing in East Austin were full of laughter, little giggles, and so much love. Honestly, it felt less like a photo session and more like hanging out with two people who are just head-over-heels for each other.


What made it even better was the location. Pershing isn’t just a random spot—it’s their place. They hang out here all the time, and it’s been the backdrop for so many of their date nights. I love when couples choose somewhere meaningful for their photos, because it adds that extra layer of “this is us.” And let me tell you, Pershing gave us everything: the cozy, moody bar, a bright and light-filled room, and even the sweetest little garden patio. Each spot had its own vibe, and they rocked every single one.


One of my favorite little details? They brought a cute cake with their wedding date written on it. And the best part is that they don’t even like cake! It was just for decoration (which is honestly iconic). Paired with celebratory drinks, it made the session feel like a little pre-wedding party, which was so fun.


Also… can we talk about how amazing they looked? That classic black and white combo was perfect. So chic. So timeless. And it tied everything together beautifully. I seriously can’t wait for their wedding day in just a couple of months. If their engagement session was this fun, their wedding is going to be such a joyful, love-filled celebration.
